You did not obey March 5, 2008

Yesterday morning I was sewing in the basement.  Caleb came down to visit me, and as he is not tall enough to close the door from the stair-side, Ebony, our cat, came down as well.  They played a little bit, and then Ebony headed back to the stairs.  Caleb followed, and said “Ok kitty.  Let’s go upstairs.”

 I continue sewing.  A couple minutes later, when they had almost reached the top of the stairs, the rest of the conversation went like this:

“No, kitty.  I said no.  What did I say?  I said go upstairs.  I said go upstairs.  You did not obey.”
