These are the curtains in Caleb’s room and my bedroom. The bench is my favorite find yet, on Craig’s list!! I love it!! It will go beside our future kitchen table as extra seating. I will eventually make some pillows for it. It came with cushions, but they don’t match what I want in the future.

This morning Caleb came with me to musical practice? Why, you ask? So Josh could begin working in the kitchen, ripping out the soffets above the cabinets, and scraping the ceiling. Well, the ceiling didn’t get done because he ran out of tap to hold the cloth up to catch the mess, but the soffets are gone – yippee!! Our goal is to try to do a little bit each weekend, that way we are ready to move the back door when the weather gets warm. I really can’t wait for the ceiling fan to get changed, because I have never liked it since we have lived here.
And of course this means that I had to make curtains. They are mostly done – Caleb’s curtains are finished, and the sheers for our bedroom are hung. The actual curtains are not finished, because I had to order the fabric. But soon, they will be done, and they will be gorgeous.
